Biographical note
Following a varied career in industry and caring for a young family Chris worked for eleven years in state Primary education. Teaching both key stages with a range of management responsibilities Chris championed the use of ICT in subject teaching.
From 2000 Chris has worked extensively with local schools supporting their ICT development. Additional activities include consultancy to Becta, Naace, local authorities and as an assessor for the ICT Mark. Chris is a SMART Education Approved Training Provider. Recently Chris has been working with visual literacy and a toolkit of web 2.0 applications suitable for Primary schools.
A distinguishing feature of the service provided is a high level of responsiveness to school needs informed by discussion with school leaders before, during and after consultancy.
Quality assurance has been informed by the Naacemark for service providers which has previously been awarded for in service training and school development planning.
