Upgrading the blog

Just completed the blog upgrade to WordPress v2.5.1. I am mightily relieved because there were so many files and many possibilities for going wrong! However it is quite a big upgrade (from 2.1)- I had been wondering why there was not a tags facility. I blame all this on the Comment Challenge because I needed to tag the posts with Comment08 and just couldn’t see how. Now I have a lovely little box made for the purpose. So whole new vistas are opening up for me…but the priority has to be to find a theme I am happy with. Something plain and simple will do nicely.

I’m not sure if I’m to say welcome to the Comment Challenge or hide due to you upgrading your Wordpress so that you could tag.
The benefit of the tag is if you add comment08 to all your posts it means that we can link to this tag from the wiki and people will know where all your posts are from the Challenge. This makes it easier for the community to interact.
Theme looks nice
Thank you- yours is only the second comment I have ever received! I’m not actually that pleased with my theme yet- I was wondering where people get their themes from: obviously larger commercial people will pay for one, but does everyone else just search for free themes until they see one that they like? I have discovered that not all themes work with WordPress 2.5, which serves me right for being so clever and upgrading!
Also, not yet able to get the Technorati Tag plugin working- am getting a fatal error there. So, adding comment08 to a post- how can that get linked back I wonder.
